Raquel is fully bilingual English/Spanish. Raquel's Real Estate career began in 2001 and since July 2005 she has been affiliated with Keller Williams Realty.

Raquel's passion has always been International Real Estate and has learned the importance of applying the "Doing business globally and acting locally”. She is an active member of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), the Metro South Association of REALTORS®(MSAR) and served as the Equal Opportunity/Cultural Diversity (EOCD) Committee Chairman for 2005 and 2006 as well as Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR) (EOCD) State Committee Member for both years also serving as the State's 2019 Vice-Chair and 2020-2021 Chair of the Global Alliance Committee, 2020 Strategic Planning Committee Contributing Member, Economic Development Committee Member, and the Diversity/Equity/Inclusion Task Force member. She was a Member of the International Real Estate Council of Georgia (Treasurer for 2005), member of the Women’s Council of REALTORS served as Treasurer in 2004 and 2005 and 2020 Membership Director for the Atlanta Network, a current member of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) where she served as the 2018 Atlanta Chapter President, currently she serves as the Atlanta Chapter 2021 Emeritus Director, the NAHREP National Advocacy Committee South Region Director for GA, TN and NC as well as the Southeast Regional Corporate Board of Governors . In addition to her volunteer work with the REALTORS® Associations, she also keeps a relationship with the Business Community in the area by being a Member of the Advisory Council for the Salvation Army Jonesboro Citadel Corp and a member of the Business Network International (BNI) Atlanta Southern Crescent Chapter. In 2017 she and her family created and Founded the DREAM BIG Sport and Art Scholarships for children to participate in after school enrichment programs whose families cannot afford to pay for their participation otherwise.

During her Real Estate career, she has acquired several designations: Certified New Homes Sales Professional (CSP), Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), Affordable Housing Specialist (AHS), Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Quality Service Certified (QSC), Certified International Properties Specialist (CIPS), being the first and only in her Local Association of REALTORS® with this prestigious designation. Accredited Sellers Representative (ASR). In the GMAC Real Estate continuous training, she completed the PHD course, Real Estate Judo, and Elegant Homes Certification. She has also acquired the Transnational Referral Certification (TRC), Certified Foreign Investor Specialist (CFIS), Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Performance Management Network(PMN). She obtained Certificates from the International Business Academy of the World Trade Center Atlanta and Grassroots Leadership Institute from the University of Georgia Clayton County Extension Office.
